What this site is

This website presents Enchanted Ink, an e-ink journal whose software runs today as a working prototype and whose device is being designed. Statements are marked with their status. Unless preorders are open and you complete checkout, nothing here is an offer to sell, and no statement on this site is a warranty.

Scripted demonstrations

The animated handwritten exchanges on this site are fictional and scripted. Their replies were written in advance; no AI model runs when you use them, and they don’t show how fast a real device responds. The recordings labeled “Real recording” are unedited footage of the prototype software on a reMarkable Paper Pro; reMarkable isn’t affiliated with or endorsing Enchanted Ink.

Pictures of the device, stylus and folio are design illustrations, not photographs of a manufactured product. Final materials, dimensions and contents may differ.

The waitlist

Joining is free and doesn’t reserve a device, create an account or commit you to anything. You agree to receive email about the Enchanted Ink release under wording version notify-preorders-2026-10-01; occasional notes about writing and the product are optional, under news-2026-09-30. You can leave at any time from the link in any email. See Privacy.

Preorders

Preorders aren’t open, so there are no sale terms yet. When they open, the complete terms (price, what’s charged today, the estimated ship window and why we believe it, cancellation, what happens if it’s late, returns and warranty) will be published here, versioned, and shown next to the button before anyone can pay.
